The North Country Cares About ParTech
Elaine Belanger, North Country Cares, explains how HelpWorks sharing features improve the screening process for New Hampshire Hospital Association.
AVH has been able to avoid duplicate intake on clients by just looking into the HelpWorks program, going to “interview notes” and accessing client portability, assigned level, and care expiration date. I collect this information during a screening at NCC for client eligibility and enrollment into the New Hampshire Hospital Association program. Questions are immediately answered regarding client financial information, monthly income, as well as savings and non-earned income. HelpWorks will also screen for Medicaid programs, which helps to determine if a client should be sent to the local DHHS. This has been a time saver for the AVH staff as well as for North Country Cares. We've eliminated the need for back and forth telephone calls almost entirely.
NH ParTech is about to release even more features that will be helpful; one feature I am particularly excited about is called eForms. It will provide capability to access agency applications, such as the Department of Health and Human Services: New Hampshire Health Access Program form. My screening input can be automatically placed into the form’s fields and then printed and stored. Referrals can also be made by email to a participating agency (leaving out any confidential information). Dan and Drew, who are members of the NH ParTech support staff, are quick to respond when there is a problem. They are a true support staff with the patience to get to the source of an issue and fix it quickly. Elaine Belanger is the Care Coordinator for North Country Cares (Berlin). Elaine has been a licensed user of ParTech since July 2004. |
