ParTech now offers Release 2 (R2) of the ParTech Connection, which is a web enabled application, utilizing the Qilan® integration server. The server based application serves as a gateway to HelpWorks and Factors software. The application has been designed to enable secure 'one-write' data entry (enter data once, available everywhere). The ParTech Integration Server eliminates re- keyboarding of common data already available in an existing database, such as a Logician Medical Record System, for use within ParTech applications.
This legacy integration tool includes a series of adapters to allow access to the legacy applications and databases. Adapters currently exist for Logician and Microsoft Access databases and will soon be available for other applications and databases, including Sybase, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL Server. The legacy tools and middleware are hosted on the ParTech Integration Server.
The latest revision of ParTech Connection also features E-Forms or “Electronic Forms” which is an online tool that enhances the HelpWorks screening process. Upon completion of a HelpWorks screening, the user will be presented with a choice of one or more application forms related to the program that they screened for. If they just completed a Medicaid APTD screening, for example, they would be presented with a Medicaid application form.
When the user selects one of the forms, it will be automatically filled out with the information that the client supplied during the course of the screening, such as monthly income and employment status, as well as any necessary information stored in the client’s profile, such as date of birth and address. The completed E-Form will then be available to the user as a PDF file for printing or filing. If desired, the E-Form can automatically be forwarded as an email attachment to the appropriate agency for further action.
